Our Services
At WTB Surveyors, we offer two primary types of building surveys to cater to different property needs
Level 2 – Home Buyer Report
Ideal for conventional properties in reasonable condition, the Level 2 Survey provides a detailed assessment of the property’s condition, highlighting any significant issues that may affect its value or require attention. This survey includes:
- Identification of major defects and urgent problems.
- Assessment of the property’s overall condition.
- Recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance.
Suitable for: Modern homes and properties in good condition.
Level 3 – Building Survey
The Level 3 Survey offers a comprehensive analysis of the property’s structure and condition. It is particularly beneficial for older, larger, or altered properties, or those in poor condition. This in-depth survey includes:
- Detailed examination of all accessible parts of the property.
- Identification of both major and minor defects.
- Advice on repairs, maintenance, and potential future issues.
- Information on construction materials and techniques used.
Suitable for: Older, larger, or significantly modified properties, or when planning major renovations.
Add-On Service – Drone Roof Survey
Drone Roof Survey (Optional Add-On for Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys)
At WTB Surveyors, we offer Drone Roof Surveys as an optional add-on to complement our standard Level 2 and Level 3 building surveys. This service provides high-resolution aerial imagery and video of otherwise inaccessible or high-level roof areas, allowing for a safe, non-invasive assessment of:
- Roof coverings and tiles
- Chimney stacks and flashings
- Guttering and drainage systems
- Flat roofs and dormers
- Valleys, ridges, and parapets
Using a licensed drone operator and professional-grade equipment, our team can identify visible defects, weathering, and maintenance issues with a level of detail not always possible from ground-level inspection or internal loft access alone.
Benefits of a Drone Survey:
- No need for ladders, scaffolding, or cherry pickers
- Safe access to fragile, steep, or multi-storey roofs
- Digital photos and video footage included in your report
- Cost-effective compared to traditional roof access methods
- Enhances overall survey accuracy and client confidence
Our drone surveys comply with CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) guidelines and are conducted by fully insured, trained operators. This add-on is available to clients within suitable airspace and weather conditions, and subject to property location.
How to Add This Service
You can request a Drone Roof Survey during your initial booking or later as an upgrade. Our team will confirm availability and pricing based on your property type and location.
